With over 100 cats and kittens in our care at times, Rose Cat Rescue is supported by an incredible network of fosterers, volunteers, veterinary professionals and members of our local community.
Every cat that comes through our doors matters — whether they’re a tiny abandoned kitten, a frightened stray, a neglected cat needing urgent treatment, or a much-loved older cat whose owner can sadly no longer care for them.

Our Mission
Rose Cat Rescue is a registered charity (Registered Charity Number: 1216736) based in Hatfield, Hertfordshire, dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming cats and kittens in need.
We help stray, abandoned, neglected and unwanted cats, as well as supporting owners who, for genuine reasons, are no longer able to care for their pets.
Our cats are cared for in loving foster homes rather than kennels, where they receive everything they need to become healthy, happy and ready for their forever homes. This includes veterinary treatment, neutering, microchipping, vaccinations, flea and worm treatment, and sometimes extensive or emergency medical care.
But our work goes beyond rescue and rehoming. We promote responsible cat ownership and neutering, help with stray and feral cats in our local communities, support vulnerable owners where we can, and work to reduce the number of unwanted cats and kittens needing rescue in the future.
